• Our storage facility offers high security features with 24/7 surveillance and alarm system. We also have climate-controlled units to protect sensitive items such as electronics, delicate furniture, documents and antiques which are protected from temperature changes humidity or dust.
• We offer flexibility for all client’s storage, allowing clients to rent the storage space on a short or long-term basis. This can be helpful for clients during a move, renovation or if time is needed to sort through belongings. With different sized containers available, a client could start with a larger container but then downsize if necessary. At Specialised Movers we are flexible enough to meet any client’s needs.
• We offer a clean and organised space for the client’s items. When having items put into containers we will do an inventory for each one. This is especially helpful if a client has more than one container and needs to access to a specific item. Clients can then look through the inventories and see which container the item/items are in that are required. Clients can come and view their storage containers between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday. We also offer weekend access upon request.
• At Specialised Movers containers are there for the client’s convenience. For example, if a client’s move-in date is delayed or if items need to be stored temporarily during a move, we have flexibility. We will offer transportation of a client’s items, so will come to a property with a pallet van that will have the container on ready to load. This will then help with double handling. Once the container is full it will then go to the facility to be locked away within the storage facility.
• The cost for containers varies depending on size. This can be discussed with us at any time, and we’ll offer the right size storage container to suit each client’s needs.
• If used, the Specialised Movers packing service includes labelling each box that is packed, and if any individual items need to be wrapped, each item will be labelled as they are wrapped. If clients have larger items and would like them dismantled to come out of the property, we will correctly label each part to assure that nothing gets misplaced.
• Specialised Movers offer insurance coverage for the stored items. Please discuss this with us when you enquire about storage.
• All clients can view the storage facility along with having the opportunity to ask any questions before agreeing to use the facility.
