We tailor our services to match your exact requirements and budget, working to specified floor and desk plans and pre-set agreed schedules, which often means our teams working nights, weekends and bank holidays to minimise any disruption to your organisation and have you back up and running on time. Every project is assigned a dedicated move manager, who will communicate with you or your team throughout, solving any challenges that arise before the project begins and also once work has begun on the rare occasion that the team leader on site needs assistance. We can provide a full packing and filing service and if preferred provide packing materials and/or crates for self-packaging prior to the move. Our bespoke liveried vehicles are tracked with tail-lifts to make loading and unloading safer and easier, regardless of access.

At Specialised Movers we are committed to helping our clients reduce their carbon footprint, as well as our own.
Internally we have been upgrading our vehicle fleet, with our newer diesel HGVs fitted with Euro Cat 6 engines as standard and older vehicles retrofitted to that low emission standard. For our smaller, shorter trip vehicles we are trialling electric vans and are also avidly watching the progress of hydrogen, green diesel and hybrid power for future fleet options. We are upgrading our warehouse lighting to LEDs, and the staff are undergoing ‘Low carbon’ training around energy usage, better driving and awareness.
The measures we are taking internally help our clients reduce their carbon impact in respect of their Scope 3 emissions (the carbon output of its supply chain) and more directly through furniture and electrical item audits so that our clients’ redundant furniture and IT is either reused (via schools or charities etc.), or recycled (including chipping), with a minimal amount going to landfill.
